Massage Therapy

Every session is created for each client’s needs using a combination of techniques. Techniques and modalities provided are dependent upon the practitioner. Utilization of techniques and modalities will be based upon client request and needs as determined by the client and therapist. For questions regarding services, consultations, and scheduling please contact the individual therapists listed below.

Therapeutic Massage

Integrating the foundational techniques of Swedish or Relaxation Massage and Deep Tissue or Medical techniques, a therapeutic massage is designed to address each individual client's needs. Additional techniques and modalities such as Myofascial Therapy, Strain-Counterstrain, Scar Tissue Mobilization, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Active Isolated Stetching, and more, may be integrated based on the needs of the client and at the discretion of the therapist. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, increased circulation, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage therapy uses direct heat of the stones to relax muscles, improve circulation and increase flexibility. Special smooth stones are heated in water to optimal temperature, placed at key points on the body and also directly used in the massage application. Utilizing hot stones allows the therapist to access deeper muscle layers. Combining hot stone protocols including direct application of hot stones to muscles, with a 60-90 minute full body massage session provides unique healing and relaxing experience to the clients.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy Massage (also called Prenatal Massage) can help release common pains and discomforts that often develop throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, and may include the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, improved breathing and relaxation, and emotional support. Care is given to address the changing needs of an expectant mother's body, working to relieve pain and stress while nurturing a safe space for the baby.

Medical Massage

Medical massage is outcome-based massage, primarily the application of a specific treatment targeted to the specific problem(s) the patient presents with a diagnosis and are administered after a thorough assessment/evaluation by the medical massage therapist with specific outcomes being the basis for treatment. It is also known as clinical massage or treatment massage.
